The 19, Crac launches its new call for applications for La box du 19, aimed at students and recent graduates from art schools in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Grand Est regions, as well as students originally from the Belfort-Montbéliard urban area.
La box du 19 is a programme that supports young contemporary creation by inviting an artist to produce an original work, exhibited in the “box” space from 4 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. This work is part of the Lumières de Noël event held by the City of Montbéliard.

////// How to apply?

The call for applications is open to all 4th and 5th year students and recent graduates (2024–2026) from art schools in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté and Grand Est regions, or originally from the Belfort-Montbéliard urban area.
Applicants must submit their application by Sunday 11 October 2026 at midnight, including the following documents:

– A statement of intent of no more than 1 page explaining the project in detail (any supporting materials are welcome: photographs, sketches, 3D plans, etc.)

– A projected budget for the project detailing the breakdown of the allocation between artistic fees and production costs (see budget below)

– A technical rider detailing the project’s requirements

– A CV and portfolio containing a selection of works (10 max.) illustrating the artistic approach of the applicant
