Sous la poussière
Outside {Museum of Art and History, Beurnier-Rossel Mansion}

Sous la poussière brings together once again the artists from the 4th edition of Pôle Position, a program dedicated to emerging art in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. After delving into smoldering ruins Sur les cendres at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Dole, this second chapter takes place at the Beurnier-Rossel Museum, a former bourgeois residence whose walls still bear the memory of lives once lived.

Here, the focus narrows. In the intimacy of an interior marked by time, the artworks engage with the lingering traces—fragmented remnants that line the memory of the space. Between dust and oblivion, they uncover what hides in the cracks: fragments of memory, echoes of inner struggles, gestures that seek to resurrect what seemed erased.

Sous la poussière questions what we keep and what we bury, what endures despite erasure. A fragile, fragmented journey, where each particle holds the promise of a rediscovered presence.

An exhibition presented as part of the 4th edition of Pôle Position – emerging creation, a support initiative by Seize Mille, the contemporary art network of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. In collaboration with Le 19, Crac hors-les-murs and the Montbéliard Museums.
