Culture/Health residency at the Maison de Sésame - Bethoncourt.
An artistic residency at the heart of the Maison de Sésame (a medical home for adults with Autistic Spectrum Disorders - ASD - in Bethoncourt). Together, culture and health professionals have embarked on a bold and creative artistic project, thanks to the support of the ARS and the DRAC Bourgogne-Franche-Comté: an artistic residency within the walls of the health establishment.
Charlotte Denamur sees painting as a physical and sensory experience of colour in space. She creates baths of coloured paints and inks that she applies to the floor on fabrics, most of which are domestic and gleaned from her surroundings. She then observes the state of the material - opaque, shiny, matt, liquid - and how the substance becomes impregnated and evaporates, or draws an imprint on which she intervenes. The paint becomes a skin that can be manipulated, where the front and back are the same.
Charlotte Denamur was born in 1988. She lives and works in Paris.
