Julie Chaffort’s work is first and foremost about fieldwork and experiences, lived both in front and behind the camera. To get to know the landscapes and characters in her films, she puts the participants in the project in a state of readiness to move beyond expected behaviour, to touch their physical limits and build a collective.
So this residency project is a film project based around walking, landscape, performance, staging and play, with the theme of “the wild man”. A three-day walk will be carried out with the students, where the route will be segmented by the production of videos in which the wild man costumes created by the students will be staged in natural landscapes.
In 2020-2021, CAP and BTS fashion careers students from the Lycée des Huisselets in Montbéliard and Students in the Humanities option at the Lycée Germaine Tillon in Montbéliard are taking part in the project.
