Farmer Jan - Foodforest Haarzuilens #3 (EN)

As part of the exhibition La ville en jeux, The Outsiders are sharing an episode of the podcast from their project The Travelling Farm Museum with 19, Crac.
In this episode, we take a tour of the Haarzuilens Foodforest with Jorge Menna Barreto and Joe Buggila, an artist duo based in Brazil. The two artists and researchers are interested, among other things, in agroforestry, land art and plant-based food (particularly spontaneous plants). They also believe that our digestive system has the capacity to influence our landscape. Jan, a farmer with the Foodforest Haarzuilens, has planted many varieties of nuts, fruit, berries and herbs on over 5 acres of clay. His aim is to create a healthy ecosystem with a wide variety of insects, birds and mammals. The podcast begins at the edge of the forest, when Jorge, Joe and Jan learn from each other about their respective working methods and points of view… Merel Zwarts then presents her work The Meadow Birds, which is part of a series of investigations carried out with the public around the ancient and contemporary ecologies of Leidsche Rijn (Utrecht, Netherlands). Presented in the exhibition, The Meadow Birds is one of the artistic chapters of The Travelling Farm Museum.

My mother goose and other stories from the earth, episode 15: More dams! and beavers. Conversation with Yoann Bressan.
My Mother Goose is a podcast where we listen again tales or myths in which the world is awake, where plants speak, where the wind has a home, where humans and animals marry, where geese are our mothers. Then we take a cross-disciplinary look at them, with the help of a range of researchers and thinkers attentive to the cycles of the earth, the life of the soil, mycorrhizal exchanges, spirituality and what rivers have to say.
